The Palestinian Civil Defense is one of the most important departments in the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, which provides its services to Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip. For this project, it can helps the Palestinian citizen in all disasters such as wars, and floods. In the 2021 war on the Gaza Strip, many citizens were martyred because of their presence under the demolished houses and because of the lack of capabilities of the Palestinian Civil Defense. They were late in providing assistance and were using primitive tools, hence the idea of supporting the Civil Defense to preserve the lives of Palestinian citizens.
MyAD has sponsored a fire truck, an ambulance and an office for Palestinian Civil Defense operation. This project will benefit 150,000 Palestinian citizen. What’s interesting about this fire truck is that it was built entirely inside Gaza and 100% by the Palestinians themselves.
