The RTD is one of projects between 19 NGO partners, the corporate sector and government agencies both domestically and abroad. The objective of this project is to gain insight through the program held that has the potential to contribute ideas and funds. Among the successfully organized programs are:
RTD: Advocacy & Media Centre
This RTD is under the ICT Tower project that will be built in Gaza with the cooperation of coalition of NGOs and 2 ministries in Gaza, which is The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of IT & Technology. This program has also been implemented together with the Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia and has been able to be implemented with the Indonesian NGO Muhammadiyah, which is the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia on 25 January 2023.
This program was conducted at Wisma Muhammadiyah, Jakarta, Indonesia. This RTD successfully gathered more than 13 NGOs, media agencies and academics in Indonesia to provide speakers related to the construction of a Media and Advocacy Center for Palestine in the Southeast Asian region.
RTD: Food Security
This RTD is jointly organized by Muslim Volunteer Malaysia (MVM) and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI). The main objective of this RTD is to gather input and views from Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) regarding the issue of independent food supply in Palestine and how Malaysia can help with the issue of food security there. This event was held on 14th March 2023 at Dewan MTBIC, MARDI, Serdang, Selangor.
The result of this RTD is to obtain a mutually agreed resolution and to take further action on the resolution. A total of 9 NGO representatives, food safety experts, government and industry representatives were present to share their views and the way forward in providing the best solution for this issue.
